To be perfectly honest lately I have neglected my skin and traded it for my obsession with makeup. So rather than take care of my skin and nourish it I have been hiding under a veil of pure foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, and highlighter. I had a moment a couple of weeks ago where I decided to take charge. I did not have a set beauty routine and I was not putting in the effort that I needed to have beautiful glowing skin.
So what do I always do when I feel like something needs to change well I do my research. I searched instagram, pinterest, and the web. I kept running across posts about this miracle glow tonic. I had read and heard great things about this Glow Tonic by Pixi Beauty. I noticed so many blog posts talking about this product first it was the Pixi Glow tonic review on Refinery 29 then Nouveau Cheap and so on. I set out on a mission to find this and low and behold it was available at Target. I was able to snatch on of the last bottles at $15 for 3.4oz.
My first impression of Pixi Glow Tonic was wow this smells pretty and hopefully it will make my skin that way. I think the key to any product is consistent use so with that being said you will most likely not see results immediately. I used this twice a day for about a month and the results were apparent. Be patient and this will transform your skin. Here are the Pros: no alcohol means no drying, 5% glycolic acid means it will exfoliate, and aloe vera/ginseng will hydrate and soothe. Now for the Cons: some may not like the strong perfume scent, the 5% glycolic acid gives you a slight tingle, and it is an extra step in the skincare routine.
